heaven is full of rosebuds

The focal of this choker is a supremely lovely vintage carved ivory rose pin, signed Wells 14KGF (14 karat gold-filled) on the back. I believe the roses to be genuine pre-ban ivory, and the leaves to be jade, and these roses are carved in a very unique, lifelike and elegant way.

The pin was carefully handwired with 14K gold-filled wire to become a pendant, and then paired with a lovely faceted, sparkly rock crystal, subtle moss amethysts, 14K gold-filled beads, moonstone and freshwater pearls, all strung with gorgeous shimmery black spinel gemstones, the premier black gemstone (second to black diamonds, and harder and sparklier than black garnet or onyx).

Closed with a 14K gold-filled toggle clasp, and measures about 38 cm (15 inches) around for a very elegant choker fit.
